Grayson Map
Grayson is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1521 at the 2010 census.
Grayson is located at 33°53?36?N 83°57?20?W / 33.89333°N 83.95556°W / 33.89333; -83.95556 (33.893306, -83.955420). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.6 km²), all of it land. Grayson suffered a damaging tornado on June 27, 1994, killing a 10-year-old girl. The city has been benefitting from exurban growth in eastern Gwinnett County, especially in the late 1990s and through the 2000s.
The city government of Grayson consists of a mayor and four council members. The current mayor is Jim Hinkle, and the city council includes Marc Gordon, Marcus Hinton, David Schroder, and Allison Wilkerson Rooks.
