God's House of Prayer is a non-denominational church, where those of all persuasions are welcome. In 1995, Pastor Allen Boyd founded this church and started outreach ministries like JC Riders Motorcycle, Nursing a Home, Orphanage, Jail & Prison, Gideon Bible and Overseas Missionary, among others. God's House of Prayer extends an open invitation to praise and to play Bible Trivia games.

Baptist Church

New Harmony Baptist Church

New Harmony Baptist Church is located on Heardsville Road in Cumming. The quaint little white chapel abuts a very old and beautiful cemetery, which is an interesting stroll through time. The Reverend Johnny Purcell is Pastor. The church was originally built in 1855 and was rebuilt in 1928. A fire destroyed the church in 1981 and it was rebuilt that same year.
