Founded in 1935, Armstrong Atlantic State University is a part of the University System of Georgia. The university offers baccalaureate degree programs in art, biology, chemistry, computer science, economics and English. Additionally, it offers degree programs in various subjects, including psychology, political science, mathematical sciences and information technology. The university has an athletic department that offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, softball, tennis and golf.
