The Georgia Council for International Visitors (GCIV) is a non-profit organization based in Brookhaven, GA, that has been connecting Georgians to the world since 1962. Their mission is to foster professional, cultural, and educational experiences that cultivate positive global change by facilitating various community programs and coordinating professional exchange programs for the U.S. Department of State and other agencies.
Through their International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), GCIV provides current and emerging foreign leaders with short-term visits to the United States, allowing them to experience the country firsthand and establish lasting relationships with their American counterparts. Additionally, GCIV offers fee-for-service programs tailored to deliver program sponsor and participant objectives, as well as enrichment activities as part of the Fulbright Program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
