Established in 1973, The Georgia Academy of Music is a not-for-profit community music school located in the Tull Hall building on the campus of Westminster Schools in Buckhead. The Academy offers one-on-one and group instruction for children ages six months to five years in a wide, cross-cultural variety of instruments and disciplines.
The academy's 30-member international faculty offers lessons in cello, clarinet, flute, guitar, low brass, percussion, piano, saxophone, trumpet, viola, violin and voice. For toddlers, the Academy offers the "Musical Beginnings" program, a 30-year tradition of providing musical introduction with a focus on hands-on experience. See the Web site for program details.
