Dr. Gonzalez earned his B.A. with honors from Williams College. He then graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health, where he was student council president for one year, class president for three years, and a service award recipient. He completed his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital - Washington University Medical Center in Saint Louis, MO, where he was the Abrams Award recipient for Highest In-service Exam Score 2006. He then served as clinical instructor of the Division of Urology at Washington University from 2006 to 2008 with a clinical specialty in laparoscopic surgery.
