History
Eight at Eight's member database contains over 10,000 members and continues to grow - an amazing turnaround for a company on the verge of dissolving in 1998. Eight at Eight Dinner Club had stagnated - its owners were out of new ideas and membership remained consistently low. At that point, Sarah Smith, a recent graduate, stepped in and turned the company around. At the age of 22, she purchased the company and set out to make Eight at Eight the premier dating service in Atlanta. Needless to say, she has succeeded. Eight at Eight is responsible for over 300 marriages and operates in 4 major markets.
Specialties
Instead of the pressure of a one-on-one meeting or date, Eight at Eight selects a compatible mix of SINGLES matched by age, interests, and background. Four men and Four women meet for friendly conversation, dinner, and the chance to increase their circle of friends. The concept is fun, unique, and it really works! Each dinner party takes on a life of its own and the net result is always a great evening out. The idea is simple - Four Single Men and Four Single Women meet for dinner at eight o'clock. Members of Eight at Eight meet in groups for an evening of friendly conversation, good food, and the chance to increase their circle of friends over dinner. The Club members are brought together based on age, mutual interest and backgrounds.
