The Facilities Management Division operates under the government of DeKalb County in Georgia. It focuses on the safety, cleanliness, comfort, aesthetics, image and functionality of county buildings. The Facilities Management Division operates through skilled staff, contractors and vendors. The county government includes airport, community development, court, finance, fire and rescue, human resources, information systems, parks and recreation, planning, police, public works, and purchasing and contracting departments. Its finance department is comprised of budget and grants, internal audit and business licensing, and risk management and employee services divisions. In addition, the county government s public works department is responsible for the maintenance of roads and other infrastructural systems for the community.
