Hi Tech is a self-service fuel stop, auto shop and paid parking lot. The small convenience store sells snacks, beverages, lottery tickets, money orders and newspapers. Due to its size, the selection is limited. Hi Tech puts a section of its parking lot to good use by offering Decatur-goers a place to park. The prices are $2 for one hour, $4 for two hours, $5 for half a day and $8 for a full day ($2 minimum charge).
The auto shop goes by two names — Good Hans Automotive and A-1 Auto Japanese Car Care — and its services include emissions inspections, brake service, oil change, mufflers, drums and rotors, battery replacement (with Interstate batteries), tire repair and rotation, wheel balancing, air filter replacement, belt replacement, tune-ups and a 10-point, 30,000-mile service.
