Dallas Elementary School's first students walked through the building's doors in 1956; before the facility opened, one school, Dallas High School, served grades one through 12. Students in pre-kindergarten through grade five are served by the Title-I school, which operates under this mission: "...to bring learning to life by ensuring that we educated each person in a challenging environment to promote lifelong learning."
