Located in the basement of the Clermont Motor Hotel on Ponce De Leon Avenue, the Clermont Lounge is Atlanta's first and longest continually-operating strip club. Since opening in 1965, the Clermont Lounge has earned a nationwide reputation for its kitschy atmosphere and the unconventional beauty of its dancers. A favorite of local college students and occasionally visited by such celebrities as Ashton Kutcher, Marilyn Manson and Kid Rock, the club features a single stripper's stage in the center of a circular bar. The lounge features the Dance Party Funk mixes of DJ Romeo Cologne on Saturday nights.
