Superior Court is a trial court of general jurisdictions and hears felony criminal cases prosecuted by the Office of the District Attorney. It also handles cases related to various civil actions and appeals from lower courts of the circuit. The court has constitutional authority over cases involving title to land, divorce, equity, declaratory judgment, prohibition and adoption. Superior Court elects the Board of Jury Commissioners. It is governed by Clayton County in Georgia.
