Clarke Community Federal Credit Union operates in the same basic way as a for-profit bank with accounts and financing. The major differentiating factor is the fact that this bank is not-for-profit and members have stock ownership in the cooperative. When the credit union "makes money" it passes back the savings to its customers/owners in the form of reduced interest rates and fees. This organization is part of the Gwinnett Federal Credit Union system of banking co-ops. It has three drive-through lanes and a dedicated ATM lane.
