History
Terry Gironda has been working in the restaurant industry ever since she was 13 years old when she began working as a bus person in a local restaurant. Over the many years she has worked as a server, manager, and then began assisting owners in setting up their restaurants and hiring staff and training them. In 1987 she opened her first restaurant called CJ's Italian. The name came from her son's initials Craig Jonathan. Since then Terry has opened a creole restaurant called Mardi Gras. An American-style named Damon's Ribs and several more CJ's on and off the island. Terry sold her businesses and took a few years off, but after frequent requests from locals, friends, and old customers, she re-opened CJ's using a different name, MoonDoggy's Pizza. After a couple years operating under that name, building a franchise company and a larger version of the store in Brunswick, she became a grandmother and life changed. Terry now owns the original store on Saint Simons Island, it's called CJ'
