After completing his Fellowship in 1976 from Emory University, Dr. Carlos A. Osmon went into private practice in Cobb County before co-founding Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers (NGOC) in 1995. With a special interest in lymphoma, multiple myeloma and chronic leukemia, he works to find a cancer cure as an investigator of NGOC’s William S. Gibbons Cancer Research Institute. Dr. Osmon has served as chairman of many committees at WellStar Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA and WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA. He also is actively involved in cancer research and clinical trials to find a cancer cure and provide his patients with the most advanced cancer treatment available in Georgia.
