SpecialtiesThe University Catholic Center serves as the pastoral and educational center for Emory University, Oxford College, and Agnes Scott College. We exist to complement students' secular education with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help students become mature Catholic adults able to live faithful and moral lives. Since 1967, Catholic students have gathered at the University Catholic Center to form lasting friendships and find numerous ways to draw closer to Jesus through their faith. We are blessed to have an outstanding Catholic student community, propelled forward by the inspiration, ideas, interests, gifts, and talents of new students year after year. We would love the opportunity to meet and get to know you. You are always welcome to come by the house for daily Mass, to stop by the office to say hello, to grab a free cup of coffee and relax in our cozy living room, or stop by the chapel to pray before the Blessed Sacrament! We joyfully welcome you to join us at one of our many ongoing events. Educational offerings include guest speakers, Archdiocesan programs, and co-sponsored events with other faith communities on campus. We offers retreats and spiritual direction, as well as instruction for anyone interested in pursuing baptism or confirmation in the Catholic Church. Scripture and homily groups meet regularly to study informally and to reflect upon the Scriptures. And of course, we get together often to socialize, eat, and relax.
