However, visitors can still view a range of notable items, including a 10-foot model of the USS Enterprise CVA-6, scale models of U.S. carrier aircraft from WWII, WWII toys made from wood, cardboard, and Plaster of Paris, and various aircraft engines. The museum is supported by volunteers and donations, and it features fully operational airplanes such as the Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless dive bomber, the North American P-51 D Mustang fighter, and the Goodyear FG-1D Corsair fighter.
