Led by Pastor Ben Lehmann, the multi-ethnic congregation at Westside Baptist Church reaches out to others and to Jesus Christ. The church provides worship opportunities and Bible study classes, with programs for men, women, couples, teenagers and children. Music and singing are an important way in which the congregation comes together in worship, and congregational singing is led by the church's adult choir and soloists. Activities include vacation Bible school for children 4 years old through fifth grade; yearly mission trips and summer camps for students; day trips and weekend retreats for women; Christmas and Easter musical and dramatic productions; and karate, basketball and English instruction in the local community.
