Aviation Career Enrichment (ACE) is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA, dedicated to introducing youth aged 9 to 18 to the field of aviation. Founded in 1980 by Julius Alexander, a former high school teacher and aviation professional, ACE offers flight training, aerospace career exploration programs, and character building and leadership development opportunities. With a focus on providing hands-on experiences and exposure to various aviation careers, ACE aims to mold young individuals into aviation professionals.
Under the leadership of Julius Alexander, a highly experienced ground instructor and published aviation writer, ACE has produced numerous aviation professionals who have gone on to join the military, cargo carriers, and commercial airlines. In addition to traditional flight training, ACE recently acquired the Redbird MCX flight training simulator to enhance the training experience for its students. Recognized for his contributions to aviation, Julius Alexander was inducted into the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Black Pilots of America Aviation Hall of Fame in 2023.
