Founded in 1980 as the Southeastern Savo Yards, the Atlanta Lyric Theatre is a performing arts group based in the Strand Theatre on the square. The group offers a number of musical theater performances throughout the year, in addition to offering the Atlanta Junior Lyric theater workshop for children from ages 7 through 17.
