D.W. Webb Middle School is a part of Hillsborough County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1968, D.W. Webb Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also provides the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. In addition, D.W. Webb Middle School supports a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field. It has a parent-teacher-student association that sponsors and supports several school events and activities. The school has a computer laboratory that features more than 30 work stations with Internet access. Located in Tampa, Fla., D.W. Webb Middle School also has a media center that provides access to several online catalogs and research tools.
