Founded in 1962, Prine Elementary provides a balanced curriculum for the students in prekindergarten through grade five. Its special areas of instruction include physical education, music, art and technology. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that offers a range of opportunities for parents to participate in campus activities. The school also has a volunteer group, which provides individual tutoring in reading and math. Prine Elementary maintains a library that offers an array of print and electronic resources for classroom assignments and research projects. Additionally, the school organizes costume contests, Halloween parades, skate nights and rain parties.
