Southwestern Middle School serves students in grades six through eight and offers a variety of educational services. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, reading, Spanish, science, social studies, family and consumer science, arts, and technology and physical education. The school provides various after-school activities, such as yearbook, cartooning, drama and chess clubs, television production and 4-H.
