HistoryIn 2008, First Discoveries opened a Child Development Center in South Tampa, located at Bel Mar Presbyterian Church. Founded by Ms. Cindy, the program focused on providing high quality early learning programs for young children and their families. Initially serving just seven children for a summer camp program, the child development center expanded three times in its first 18 months of operation and is now licensed for 90 children. Working closely with the Early Learning Coalition, First Discoveries Child Development Center earned a four-star designation in 2014, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality programs for children. In 2015, First Discoveries expanded to include a sister site in Brandon, Florida. Both sites offer preschool, child care and after-school programs, as well as amazing summer camp programs.
