History
The Peanut Shack was originally was a dryer shed for peanuts and later converted into a produce stand. It was established by my grandparents Willie P. and Floyce Baxter. We are open about seven months out of the year from about May till November depending on the weather. Willie P. Baxter otherwise known as Willie Paul (or to me he was papa) farmed a variety of produce. However his main passion was his peanuts. Everyone around this area knows about papa and the quality he grew. I lost my papa in 2017 to cancer. He was my pillar...my rock. Someone I could always go to when I needed someone. He was the kind of man that would help you any way he could. I love that man with everything that I am. Till I see you again papa.
