History
In 2013, Valerie Herskowitz started The Chocolate Spectrum for her son, Blake, a young man with autism. Over a three year span, over 14 young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities began to join them in chocolate-making in her home kitchen. Two of these individuals eventually ended up as employees. In 2016, The Chocolate Spectrum grew into a full retail establishment with the Cafe and Academy opening up in June of 2016 in the Jupiter West Plaza located on the corner of I95 and Indiantown Road in the Winn Dixie plaza. Now more individuals with special needs have the opportunity to have jobs
