History
Suntan Art Center is a volunteer, non-profit organization offering classes, exhibits, and networking opportunities for the community. Created over 40 years ago, Suntan Art supports the arts and people of St. Pete Beach, Florida, and the Tampa Bay community area. Suntan Art offers support and assistance to the beginning artist as well as the professional. Media supported by the Center includes watercolor, acrylic, oils, photography and crafts. Classes include glass fusion, yoga, and the various media mentioned above. In the future, we hope to develop more methods and approaches to means of expression, including jewelry making and other exciting creative outlets. In addition, topics such as art business management, issues and processes are discussed.

The Suntan Art Center is 40 year old non-profit organization located on St. Pete Beach next door to the Don Cesar. The center offers monthly art exhibits and fifty classes weekly in art, exercise, and wellness. The center also has a gallery shop that sells original pieces of work and craft goods such as various styles of paintings, jewelry, and glass artwork and much more!
