We are family business started 3 generations ago. In the mid 1940's. It was our belated granddad, Joshua, who had started it all. Joshua was a horseman in the south of Florida, working with a wooden carriage led by one of his horses. First, Joshua had built a fence for his horses to feel secure in their open stable, later on, he built a roof for them to feel more at home. Then he was imaginative enough to create a special wooden door, easily sliding, to complete the whole stable structure. The horses loved it and so did Joshua. His family and all their neighbors spread the news of his stable. With time, Joshua's sons took after their father. They opened a garage door factory, when horses were the means of transportation, and wooden stable doors were used rather than elaborate garage doors. They name the business Joshua's Garage Doors.
