Founded in 1974, the Senior Resource Association, formerly known as the Council on Aging, is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of community-based services for senior citizens throughout the Indian River County in Florida. It offers adult day care services that include health monitoring and daily nutritious meals for individual with physical and developmental disabilities. The organization provides in-home personal care services that include assistance with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing and personal hygiene. The Senior Resource Association additionally offers assistance with housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and routine household activities. The organization also provides opportunities to participate in a variety of recreation and social activities.
