Seminole Gulf Railway, located in Fort Myers, Fla., is a railroad corporation that owns and operates railway tracks and runs passenger and freight transportation trains. The company began freight operations in 1987. It runs freight trains for the transportation of building materials, newsprint, liquid petroleum gas, plastics, sugar, stone, recycled materials, steel and other commodities. It also offers special trains for passengers, such as Dinner Train and Murder Mystery Trains for excursions. Its Dinner train accommodates up to 200 passengers and has more than three dining cars, and offers mystery shows. It serves five course meals that are prepared in the train s pantry car according to the passengers orders placed, and beverages and wines. Its menu includes appetizers, salads, soups, entrees, prime rib, bread rolls, and desserts. Additionally, it runs special trains for excursions during summer vacations for children and families. It offers on board games, Christmas crafts and a railroad shop that offers books and magazines.
