The Seminole County Health Department is a community-oriented agency that offers a variety of health care services. It provides specialty and primary medical care services for HIV and AIDS patients. The department offers pharmacy services and financial eligibility determination for HIV clinics, as well as supports the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). The Seminole County Health Department also provides referrals for specialized medical care, mental health and peer support services. It offers anonymous and confidential HIV testing and counseling, health education and risk reduction services. The department issues death, birth and marriage certificates, as well as provides technical assistance and education to individuals and groups. The Seminole County Health Department supports the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program.
