The Roads-Stormwater Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of streets and roadways. It specializes in the construction of flood prevention projects, as well as monitors the water quality of lakes and streams. The division plans and administers traffic systems and offers public education and community outreach programs and activities. It additionally maintains primary and secondary drainage facilities, including canals, ditches, retention ponds, pipes and related structures. The division provides engineering, restoration, landscaping, and tree trimming and removal services. It also offers records management, slope mowing, transportation, asphalt laying and mosquito control solutions. The Roads-Stormwater Division is a unit of the Public Works Department, which is a part of the Seminole County Government in Florida.
