Founded in 1971, Sandalwood High School is one of the largest educational facilities in Duval County in Florida. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, science and social studies. The school offers classes for students in grades 8 through 12. Sandalwood High School also operates a library and media center, as well as yearbook club and parent-teacher-student association. It organizes drawing, photography and card making activities. The school additionally provides the English as a Second Language program. Sandalwood High School s extracurricular events include band, chorus and drama. It also offers membership opportunities in the National Honor Society. The school conducts various athletic activities that include volleyball, football, cross-country and wrestling. Sandalwood High School provides guidance counseling services. It is a part of Duval County Public Schools.
