ROCCS Rowing Organization of Citrus County is a non-profit, volunteer-led group that offers the exhilarating sport of rowing to the Inverness community. As the first and only rowing club in Inverness, ROCCS provides a platform for local residents of all ages to learn and develop their rowing skills, whether they are young students or adults. With experienced coaches and a supportive environment, ROCCS aims to make rowing accessible and affordable for everyone, fostering strength, technique, and teamwork among its members.
Through its youth and master's rowing programs, ROCCS helps young rowers build a solid foundation of physical strength, technique, and teamwork, while adults aged 18 and over can enjoy the beauty of Florida's wetlands while building strength and cardiovascular endurance. With a dedicated team of coaches, including Reza and Chad, who have a passion for the sport and a wealth of experience, ROCCS provides a welcoming community for rowers of all levels of experience. As a volunteer-led organization, ROCCS relies on donations to fund its event supplies, equipment, and other expenses, and welcomes support from those who share their mission of promoting rowing in the Inverness area.
