The River House Restaurant is a full-service eatery. Built in 1903, River House s two buildings are a National Historic Landmark. The River House is the 'Grande Dame' of Fort Lauderdale restaurants. Housed in two of the oldest structures in Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant is located in the heart of the entertainment district, a few blocks from the Museum of Art and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The River House is a restaurant comprised of 12 different areas in which customers can dine. These areas vary in size, ambience and location. In utilizing all of these areas simultaneously, The River House has the capacity to seat 325 guests. Menu selections include pork tenderloin, free range chicken, salmon, crawfish and crab cakes.
