Operating under the leisure services and maintenance operations, Westmonte Park and Recreation Center hosts a wide variety of events and programs. Located in Altamonte Springs, Fla., its auditorium s facility is used for various events, such as gymnastics, tumbling, line dancing, community-related meetings, and special events. The center also hosts field trips and other activities for elder citizens and disabled young adults. Additionally, it organizes aquatic therapy sessions in the indoor therapeutic pool, featuring a whirlpool, ramp and chair lift. Westmonte Park and Recreation Center has a 25-meter pool, offering swimming lessons for children and parents, scuba classes and lap swimming. The center is the site of year-round adult and youth softball hosting open and league play.
