Pinellas Park High School has a unique magnet program called Criminal Justice Academy. This program is for students pursuing law-related careers. Students are able to take classes and listen to speakers talk about law-related fields. This program is career oriented.
They also have various special education courses like ESOL (English as a second language) and GOALS, which is a drop-out prevention program.
In 2001 the school received a $500,000 federal grant to develop small learning communities including: Freshmen Forum (for all incoming Freshmen), Arts & Humanities Community, Environmental, Medical and Biological Community, Sophomore Seminar, and Business Design Technologies.
