Pinellas County Utilities is a public agency that offers a range of water and wastewater treatment, collection and disposal services. It consists of administration, conservation, customer service, engineering, finance, general maintenance, laboratory and operations divisions. The agency operates more than five repumping centers, over three wastewater facilities and nearly 350 lift stations. It undertakes a variety of engineering and construction projects. The agency additionally maintains a solid waste division that is responsible for the collection and recycling of garbage and trash. Pinellas County Utilities provides project improvement, equipment maintenance, renovation, and facility rehabilitation, extension and expansion services. It also offers building inspection, water distribution, plan reviewing and sewer system development services. The agency is a part of the government of Pinellas County in Florida.
