The Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail is a picturesque, multi-use recreational trail located in Keystone Heights, Florida. Stretching nearly 47 miles through Putnam, Clay, Bradford, and Union counties, this paved trail offers a scenic journey through the beautiful Florida countryside.
Still in development, the trail is warmly welcomed by the Northeast Florida region for the enhanced quality of life and economic benefits it brings to small towns and communities. Purchased with Preservation 2000 funds, this former Norfolk-Southern Railroad right-of-way has been preserved and converted into a rail-trail, providing a wonderful outdoor experience for walkers, runners, cyclists, and inline skaters.
