The Orlando Junior Academy, established in 1906, is a private, nonprofit educational facility that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The academy offers instruction in math, science and social studies. It encourages students to take part in a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball and soccer, as well as manages a home-school association, robotics club, library and gymnasium. The Orlando Junior Academy also administers an early childhood program that features intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, physical and creative growth opportunities. The academy provides a selection of programs in Spanish, band and physical education. In addition, it offers food services. The Orlando Junior Academy is managed by Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
