The Oakland Park Fire Rescue Department provides fire suppression and advanced life support emergency medical services to the city of Oakland Park in Florida. The department offers a variety of technical rescue services. It responds to more than 8,900 calls every year. The Oakland Park Fire Rescue Department provides response units through the countywide mutual aid system. The Broward County Fire Rescue offers dispatch services to the department. The Oakland Park Fire Rescue Department works under the direction of the fire chief and employs over 70 personnel. The department maintains the operations, administration and fire prevention divisions. It also sends rescue units to the sites of commercial structure fires.
