History
The Miami Short Film Festival is South Florida's leading short film event. For the past 14 years, MsFF has selected the best films from around the world out of thousands of submissions to showcase in the glamorous Miami neighborhood of Coconut Grove. Many of these films have gone on to reach the top of cinematic acclaim, such as showcases at Tribeca, Sundance, and Cannes, and even Academy Award nominations. In 2014, the Miami Short Film Festival presented its audience with 90 short films representing over 30 different countries and spanning across a dozen various categories, such as documentary, experimental, and animated productions.
