I am experienced in handling your divorce, including issues involving custody of children, alimony, child support and property distribution. I was divorced myself, in 1990, when my children were ages 2 and 4. I went through two modification proceedings. This personal experience gives me special insight into what you are going through. I also have experience with custody issues involving parents that are not married. This is called a Paternity action and is very similar to a divorce but there are no alimony or property distribution issues involved. If you are an unmarried father who is paying child support through the Department of Revenue, then you must still file a Paternity action to establish visitation. Remember, unmarried fathers have no custody rights to their children until those rights are established in a court of law.
