Broward House
Founded in 1988, Broward House is one of the largest, independent, nonprofit organizations in Broward County in Florida. It serves men and women with HIV/AIDS. The organization operates a 50-plus-bed facility. It serves more than 6,000 individuals. Broward House offers independent family living services. The organization is certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. It provides respite care, case management, HIV testing and counseling solutions. The organization also offers several educational and prevention programs. It provides chemical dependency treatment and mental health therapy services. The organization s MPowerment Project is a program that serves gay men between the ages of 18 and 30. It operates an assisted living facility for homeless individuals. Broward House has partnerships with the Memorial Health System and Commcare Pharmacy.
