Since 1997, Jeanine Taylor has offered the best of contemporary folk art in an atmosphere of authentic Southern hospitality. In the charming historic district of Downtown Sanford, Florida her 5,000 square foot gallery is an incubator for visiting artists who enjoy their stay in sunny Central Florida. From this home base, Jeanine ventures out for road trips to stay connected with artists throughout the Southeast – her beloved French bulldog, Louie, riding shotgun. As a native Floridian, the desire to preserve her home state’s culture was a driving force in her early entrepreneurial ventures. Jeanine’s first gallery focused on Florida artists like Ruby C. Williams, the Florida Highwaymen and Missionary Mary Proctor. Over the years, the addition of folk artists who enjoy national recognition like Theresa Disney, Michael Banks, Purvis Young, John "Cornbread Anderson, and Butch Anthony have added to the rich array of talent represented.
