History
As a licensed psychologist for over 30 years, I have been helping adults, children, couples, families, and communities improve emotional wellness. I have worked in clinics and hospitals. For over eleven years, I had treated active duty military members and military family members for emotional issues, including trauma and combat stress. I had taught wellness classes on the psychological factors related to weight management for the military.

I look at treating the whole person and how the mind and body are related. Making positive changes in your emotional health can improve your physical wellbeing. Psychotherapy can be a positive experience to heal from emotional distress, to improve emotional and physical wellness, to learn positive life skills, to use strengths to solve problems, and to increase happiness and resilience in life. Changing your thinking can change your emotional and physical wellbeing.
