District III of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office covers portions of Westchase, Odessa, Town and Country and portions of Old Carrollwood. The office handles 911 calls in those areas and holds a staff of five community resource deputies who respond to emergency calls. The facility has a holding cell that will house inmates for a few hours before being transported to the county jail on Orient Road.
