David Scott Glicken began his legal career in December, 1981 with the Ninth Judicial Circuit Office of the State Attorney in the Criminal Intake Division, responsible for handling all Bond Hearings, Civil Forfeitures, and Municipal Bond Validations. In 1982, Mr. Glicken appeared for the first time before the Florida Supreme Court and successfully argued a case appealed directly from the Circuit Court. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Glicken rapidly advanced from the Criminal Intake Division and within six [6] months became the second Assistant State Attorney (and youngest) to be named as Legal Advisor to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation (MBI), a multi-law enforcement agency responsible for prosecuting organized crime, wiretap, electronic surveillance, prostitution, adult entertainment, RICO, pornography, obscenity, and drug possession/trafficking cases.

David Scott Glicken founded the Glicken Firm in 1986. Mr. Glicken's twenty-seven years of experience have enabled him to represent his clients in a very efficient and cost effective manner. Over the years, Mr. Glicken has represented clients in various Federal Cases, Felony and Misdemeanor Matters, including First Degree Murder Cases. Mr. Glicken has obtained jury verdicts in excess of one million dollars and counseled husbands and wives through the divorce process. The Firm practices primarily in the area of Family Law and Criminal Defense.
