History
The Fort Lauderdale Woman's Club began in 1911. We are a part of the larger General Federation of Woman's Clubs headquartered in Washington DC. Our clubhouse was built in 1917 with land donated by Ivy and Frank Stranahan. We are located at the corner of Andrews and adjacent to Stranahan Park.
Specialties
We are a 501(c)(3) organization where community service meets to impact civic, educational, cultural and and humanitarian needs in our community and beyond! We have open general meetings the third Friday of the month during lunch where you can learn more about our activities. We also allow club rentals for weddings, private parties and meetings.
