For Temple Terrace residents, the local recreation center is the center of most things fun. Easier to access than the nearest YMCA, cheaper than any gym membership, this all-in-one stop has activities for all age groups. Non-residents of the area are also welcome to use the facilities, however, a slightly more expensive membership rate is offered, or single entry fees are available. There are four pools. One is competition capable and used by a few swim teams, one is geared at toddlers, one is family-friendly, and the fourth is an open deep general access pool, complete with a fun slide. There is an onsite fitness center, and other classes such as, karate, baseball, tennis, gymnastics - to name a few- and are available at affordable prices.
